Role
Creative Director

After Brilli acquired the Lucidity Lights brand in Q3 of 2020, my role as Creative Director expanded to oversee four additional lighting brands: Catalina, Alsy, Tensor, and Creswell.

Lighting fixtures from these brands were sold at Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, under private labels, including Better Homes & Gardens and Mainstays.

In my new role, I oversaw a packaging redesign for Better Homes & Gardens and a packaging refresh for Mainstays, to capture attention from the shelf and drive increased sales. Both projects adhered to Better Homes & Gardens’ and Mainstays’ brand guidelines.

Under my direction, informational graphics were added to more clearly communicate design features and product dimensions, and QR codes were added to drive visitors to product detail pages (PDPs). I mentored our team’s talented packaging designer, Andrea Erekson, on the packaging redesign, including how to create realistic composite lifestyle images for the fixtures to be placed in, which elevated the overall design.

Role
Creative Director

As Creative and Brand Director of Brilli Wellness Lighting in 2020, I led a redesign of all product packaging in preparation for a retail store rollout. This project also involved creating tailored marketing pitches for Target and Home Depot, which included consumer and market insights, along with renderings of the updated packaging designs.

Both pitches were accepted, with exclusive retail rollouts in 1500 Target stores (for Brilli Wellness circadian lightbulbs), and at Home Depot stores nationwide (for Brilli Bright Bright antimicrobial lighting fixtures).
